I've spent my career on the systems organizations can't afford to get wrong: fingerprint transactions submitted to Texas and FBI biometric identification systems, document management for law enforcement and government agencies, and integrations that keep businesses running across manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and energy.

I work across the whole lifecycle. That means gathering requirements, writing estimates, and designing the architecture, then shipping, supporting, and mentoring the people who maintain the result.

Lead developer for front-end scanning and paperless workflow solutions for the Texas Department of Public Safety, including fingerprint transaction processing against Texas and FBI biometric identification systems.

Engineering & leadership

  • Architected custom integrations, business-critical background services, Web and Windows Forms applications, content management, forms processing, and custom reporting and data analysis.
  • Re-engineered business processes and workflows for multiple bureaus.
  • Owned architecture, requirements gathering, development documentation, and project estimates. Served as subject-matter lead and mentor, interviewed candidates, and led vendor–client meetings.

AI & automation

  • Programmed, managed, and automated workflows with AI agents; added AI agents to .NET solutions.
  • Selected and integrated LLMs for content and data-analysis projects.
  • Ran LLMs on local and cloud infrastructure to bring AI into legacy and modern enterprise systems.
  • Sped up development by using GitHub Copilot for boilerplate and routine debugging.

  • Built NIST-compliant integrated solutions that interface with the FBI.
